Just a quick question what does the 'no units variety' in WesW's Medieval Mod IV v2.02 for VI mean?

Does it affect any of the new units brought in from the introduction of VI?

I'm not sure but I think it means it just includes the gameplay changes without any new units.

I was a bit confused myself(my natural state anyway) about this.

Still its a great mod I'm trying at the moment.(I wish the seas thing was however fixed by a patch for Vi)

Razor is mostly right.

The no units means that the VI version includes the majority of the changes made in the full MTW version for the Medieval period campaigns, such as province alteration, fixing the seas and so on. It also includes changes to VI, obviously. However this version does not make any changes to the units in the Medieval or Viking period, such as making Kerns into jav/spearmen etc

This is because the mod has yet to be reconfigured with the new units from VI for the standard campaigns worked in.

So if you play with the VI no units version, you can certainly use all the new units from the expansion. Later, the mod, I hope, will have a full version for VI which alters the new units, or alters the previous unit changes with mind to their presence.

One thing that needs fixing about the new units for example is the Swabian swordsmen (graphical glitch).

EEUURAAH.
