Are there any mod explanations?

Hello all,

I was just wondering if there were any pages that explain what roughtly each mod does? I am staring at the horde of them and all i see are a few i might be able to guess at,anyone point me in the direction of a mod explanation page?

When you download them, most of them have a read-me that tells you what they do. Not the best of systems, nor what you are looking for, but it still helps.
