how do you get a standard avatar working?

Sorry guys but I'm missing something here I can't work out how to change my avatar to a non custom one, but something different to Mercinary one

There's no remove button yet, please type http://www.totalwar.org/None.gif to remove urlavatars.

Thats from Tosa Inu in the thread about new features in the Tavern, thats if you want to remove a custom avatar that you have installed, If I understood your question. There is no other way to change it from mercenary without using a custom avatar, you will see it change from time to time according to your post count, it goes to Knight, Duke etc. not in that order
