You remember the time it took to drag your Spanish Prince Alfafa from Portugal to Palestine so he can be crowned King Of Jerusalum? There is a way to scroll twice as fast.

Know it already?

Then go away

If not think hard and the answer will come to you...

Got the answer? Wanna check what it is? It is....

Use both the keyboard and mouse to scroll

Tada Now ain't yer a clever cove? Bet yer might proud of yerself

And remember Its true until most people know it.

I'm using that frequently. However, it seems to have slowed down a bit in VI.

Actually it scrolls faster with VI so it only applies to 1.1.

Yes buy the expansion pack, so your game scrolls faster. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smokin.gif

I use the cursor keys and the mouse automatically when scrolling in most strategy games, as in nearly every one there's a speed increase when both are used. Sometimes, the Shift key speeds it up even more, but in Medieval that just highlights your provinces green or red. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif

Use your mousewheel to zoom out, scroll around, and then zoom back in. Helps deploying those hordes of agents from one province to another.

IIRC, If you press shift and a direction during a battle, you move at twice the speed.

Yes, but not on the campaign map.
