Byzantines discover fountain of youth

I found something humorous in my campaign. While searching for the byzantines I discovered the lot huddled on the island of Rhodes. It seemed a little unusual that there were about a dozen princesses on the island ranging from age 36 to age 129 (most of them well over 100 yrs. old). Did they have plastic surgery back then....because none of them looked a day over 30. Anyway i married one of them to my general, poor guy.
