where have all the ships gone?

when i started my early period game as the english i noticed that not a single ship was on the map, also checked the status bar for units, none there either.

it wasn`t just the english, i used matteosartori to see the full map and nobody had them. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

i`m using VI with MedMod2, so have i found another quirk in the game?

anyone got anything similar?

As far as I know the Italians are the only ones to start off with a ship in the early period. Maybe a storm sunk it?

Sicilians also have a couple of ships. In beginning, Italians have three and Sicilians two ships, its not likely that they all would have lost in the storm..

Well, you're using a mod I don't use, so I can't help you. I suppose you should ask WesW for help, some mod likely will copy your post to the dungeon if he doesn't check topics here.

a glitch i notcied only with the original release was that all the ships vanished every so often. you could find them on your list of regions controled or generals, but htey weren't on the map. the patch seemed to clear this up though, and i've never heard of it in viking, problem with the mod maybe?
