Well, I purchased Viking Invasion when it came out and I decided to start playing multiplayer after playing other games for a couple of months. I had already played online with the normal Total War version so I expected to be online in no time. How wrong I was.......:(

Anyways, since I already had a Gamespy username and account I figured that all I had to do was enter the keycode on the back of the manual and I would be finished. And so I did.....

Invalid cd-key

Hmmmmm, must have made a typo or something.... so I reentered the code.

Invalid cd-key

Hmmmmm, maybe I should use lowercase instead of uppercase letters....

Invalid cd-key

Hmmmmm, maybe(for some wierd odd reason) I should put in one big blob....

Invalid cd-key

This has been going on for half an hour and I'm running out of ideas. I've looked at the stickied helpthreads and have followed their instructions to the letter....

when you enter the cd key, make sure you also enter the dashes. AND you MUST hit the enter key at the end, after you've entered all the numbers and letters.

if that doesnt work, take it back and get another copy or call activision.

Woohoo, cd-key accepted

For some weird reason the Continue button didn't pop up when I pressed Enter before. Maybe the restart fixed it http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/dizzy.gif?

Anyways, thanks for the help Kraellin http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif
