Enclosed link will get you to Almicar webpage;
Almicar VIArmybuilder (http://personales.ya.com/almircar/)
Almicar program allow you to buy an army and see what the stats are at the same time.
A little bit as if you had army selection and F1 put together.
A very great tool from [FF] Almicar.
Enjoy,
Louis the Simurgh,

Hola Amigo
It has been ages since I wanted a tool that could help me build armies and tell me the stats and costs of each unit. I discussed this with some people already, and I just want to extend to you my deepest gratitude for making this great tool.
Thanks a lot. This is really a wonderful tool for MP. I am already using it a lot. This may also help me select my armies a lot faster, as people always complaining about my selection time. In the past I always selected my armies right before battle. Now I can actually do some planning and that too without spending futile hours, which could be spent doing better things, calculating stats and costs. All that can be done in ten minutes now.
Thanks for this brilliant work. If I can help you with anything (i doubt it) gimme a shout.
*salute*
Konnichiwa,
Great tool, thanks Almircar.

Great tool Almicar and [FF] broshttp://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif
Thank you.
p.s. Almicar, your unit upgrade cost modifiers works were very much helpfulfor me(for my master tool).
Have a happy day~ http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif
Konnichiwa,
I'm not a coder, so no idea how hard it is nor whether it's possible at all. I apologize if I suggest a mission impossible here.
STW had tools like logfile readers with stat info too. A lot of statdata was hardcoded in the game.exe and therefor the tools had hardcoded data too.
MTW has about all statdata listed in txt files. It would be of use if those files were used as data source for tools. Add new statfiles, and the tool 'just' reads it to do the maths. The tool should allow the user to import new datafiles to use, since the stats can have any name (not possible for exe to determine which txt file in the MTW directory is a stat and which not).
P.S. I just saw that Almircars tool already seems to do that. The 'only' new thing would then be the possibility to import extra stats. Great thinking Almircar.
Due to the non-trivial missile costs derivative, some of the stats has to be hardcoded (reading the stats files crusader/viking/projectile is not sufficient to reproduce the costs/upgrade relationship). Louis Ste-Simurgh de Colombe already relay the above message to Almircar. I do believe the that base costs are read from the statfiles, not entered by hand. However, part of the adjustments are hardcoded. Only Almircar could confirm this.

Hi An,
ive read post at www.totalwar.org: http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin....;t=8803 (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=18;t=8803) about VIArmyBuilder, but i cant post a reply there.
What you said in last post is true. All stats and units are read from VIKINGS_UNIT_PROD.TXT and CRUSADERS_UNIT_PROD11.TXT files. But projectile stats are not read from PROJECTILESTATS.TXT. We tried it, but as you know does not works (i think another factor is unkown for us). Then we create our own table about projectile stats: hardocoded (have no chance).
Stats of all units are read from files.
Costs of projectile units are calculated with a personal table.
Costs of non-projectile units are read from files.
I sent a e-mail at CA about projectile stats, but noone asnwer me.
In projectile costs thats the reason of + - 1 florin error.
In non-projectile the + - 1 error in florins is because i dont understand why in some units 5.5 means 6 and in other units 5.5 means 5. If someone could help me there ill be happy.
Un Saludo. (An, Simurgh, if you can post this message there...)

As pointed projectile stat are hardcoded because projectile file is not 'the whole story'. Unless we get a better understanding of the rule for that, it's likely to remain hardcoded...
See this topic;
Proj stat topic (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=18;t=7541)
which IMO is unconclusive....
I guess it's also a problem modder might face...

I killed upgrades in MPWars so no problem there ;-)
