hey guys i wanted to find out if any of you who play any of the total war games ever try doingl ike a role play either in single game or mp?

i.e

in single play you try to role play as you were actual daimyo or the king in medieval and make decisions and build or goto war based on your own made vices or virtues or what it says in your king's id in game

in multiplayer: when you play with bunch of friends do you play strictly as a strategy game or do you all assume role playing characters etc?

i am interested in hearing about it

If you do a search of the old posts, there have been several threads on Role Playing the campaign/

Personaly i love to Role play it, which is why VI's 56 bug realy anoyed me.

I also give myself rules to game bye, such as never attacking an ally.

I do not roleplay. When one spans the virtual lifetime of several generations during a game, I cannot help but link plans to span various generations, thus abasing myself of any desire to roleplay one step of many in my quest for victory.

I also do not roleplay, I try to remember it is just a game, I of course would play much differently if it were real life.
