hey all, i was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem. i've got a fresh install of mtw v1.1, and i'm attempting to install medmod 1.85 using the installation program. i run it, select my mtw folder, and it appears to do its thing...however, when i go to run the game, it's just plain ole vanilla mtw. anyone know what i'm missing here, or am i just a moron? (don't be too honest on that last question.) thanks all.

Hey, I believe there is a more updated version of the MedMod available. I think it is 2.04 or 2.03...get that and make sure you are copying over you existing files after you copy originals....i am playing it now, and it works, any more problems, just post,,. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

hmmm... i was under the impression that 1.85 was the latest version available for regular mtw, and not vi. is that not the case?

That is the case.
2.03 is for VI MTW only.
One thing you should always try is re-downloading the MedMod file. I'm not sure exactly what the problem is, but it can also be handy to install the mod to a 'dummy' folder and then manually copy all the files into the right places.
Well, let me know how this goes :]

yeah, last time i used it, i had to manually copy everything... being the lazy person i am, i was hoping to avoid that rather annoying process. but seeing as how cool the medmod is, i guess its worth it. hehehe.
You need to install the mod into your Total War folder, not your Medieval - Total War folder. This may be the problem, if I interpreted your post correctly.
If this is the case, you can also look in your MTW folder, and if you see another MTW in there, just pull it up one level and paste over the original folder, and everything should go fine.
