Question on Camp Map

OK why is it I can move to some providences but not others..........I control the waterways and can cross troops to one arean but not the one to the south....like that island between England and Ireland in VI or Ireland itself in MTW.......is it an allies thing or a bug......it's funny I can move into all it's neighbors or all the way up the coast but not the one I really want......

Regarding the one in VI, its not a province in the game.

For Ireland, you need to move a ship into the seas surround Ireland and it has to be linked with ships with access to a port.

Move into is easy. You can have ship in any sea region that touches the province. However, to move out, you will need ship in the sea region that has the port.

Thank you for the replies but that is not the problem...........

I have ships in all the seas and in VI can move from the Ireland provinces to the England one's, even to the Viking Homeland but still cannot move into some Coastal provinces.........

It is not certain ones all the time either, if there are 4 coastal in a sea zone I control, I can only land in three of them.....2 above and 1 below (for example)......

Which faction does the island between England and Ireland belong to? Do they have a ship in that area?

The Vikings held it and yes they had a ship in the sea area........

We were allies and I was planning a sneak attack.....

Having a ship in a sea area will block armies, if neutral or allied????

Yes. Having a ship in a sea region prevents other factions from assaulting you by sea.

Yeah you can't sneak attack a faction if they have a boat on the sea near the province. This also works for your defense.
