I have started to notice that when engaging an enemy where the daimyo is in the battle, he seems to be the last to die. Is this also the case for your own daimyo?

How about for one of your heirs?

Just curious,

he's pretty tough, so he usually is the last to die. but not always. there are also times when he will be killed but members of bodyguard are still alive.

OK, thanks guys,

Thus far, I have kept him far from the front lines of a battle at all costs...but in a battle last night, Takeda crossing a bridge into my YA I noticed that his HC was down to 2 so I threw my HC in to try to finish him before he would retreat to safety.

He ended up the last to go, and I was down to six of my own. Then next time I was back at 11 HC. I started to think if the daimyo is the last to go, it is like "free" troops - and not to worry about chasing down fleeing troops with them (as long as they don't all die).

But after your answers, I think it is not worth the risk.

Thanks,

Jaguara
