Sup people. I've just recently tried to play with people online on STW:WE. I've installed patches 1.01b and 1.02 correctly, and I have registered and can play online. The problem is that no one ever seems to be around. Have I done something wrong in my getting ready to play online, or do people just rarely play Warlord edition online anymore???? Please write back.

Sorry to tell you but medievil totalwar has taken away a lot of the players of shogun but I do believe theres a tradition of playing on sunday nights. You can find out a lot more info in the sword dojo.

Visit the Sword Dojo for more info and check on the Sam on Sunday. Also, most people now playing with either v1.02 (official) or v1.03 (community).

As pdoan8 suggested, take a look at the Sword Dojo. There is a Be a Sam on Sunday post and I believe there is another new post that is trying to synch up people in different time zones around the world.

There are still plenty of people playing Shogun. I'm online everyday from 7:00 GMT to around 9:00 or 10:00 GMT. I managed to fight nine battles yesterday so you shouldn't really have any trouble. Make sure you have patch 1.03, most of the games recently have been with this patch and you will end up missing games if you don't have it.

Most people are around at that time, but if you want a game at another time just post it a day in advance and I will let you know if I can make it.

There are quite a few who still play WE/MI.
I see Shinano has already coved the main points but I suggest you wander over to the sword dojo for all the latest gossip. The important things to look for are the 103 comunity patch (it lets you play both 102 and 103 stats) the latest map pack 305, the official patch to 102 needs to be put on before you do the 103 stuff though.

Just as a note I also play just about every evening at 6pm till 7pm GMT (GMT 1 hour behind UK Summer time at present)
