View Full Version : Help!
I am reregistering to play STW:WE online since I don't remember all my particulars.
So, I start the game, go to multiplayer, click 'register on EAPlay and go through all this. Then, I activate my account by clicking on the link in the email they send me. I then start the game again, go in to multiplayer. Is the username the same as the one I registered on EAPlay? Anyhow, that's what I put in and it said the username or password was incorrect, and asked if I had created a player at totalwar.com... huh?
Konnichiwa,
There are seperate registrations for STW and WE.
Make sure you select the right familyname (say Irving Akechi).
I also recall that there is a password for the created nick and a password for the EA account. Use the former. There's also a username for the EA account and an created nick, they can be different.
-Create EA account: name and password (register at EA)
-Create a STW nick (chose familyname), a clan (you may have to create one and register that one too) and nick password.
Make notes :-) .
It is case sensitive: Irving is not the same as irving.
Good luck, please ask if you need more help.
But, where do I create the STW nickname? I mean, to playonline, it asks for a username and password...which ones are those? The EA ones or seperately created STW nick and password?

I put an ABC guide here:
http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin....&t=9092 (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST&f=1&t=9092)
Sorry if a little "insulting" to the intelligence of some but ... *shrugs*
Perhaps you're guide isn't explicit enough
When I try to login and click continue, all it says is that I have successfully registered..
No insult to my intelligence whatsoever..... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
(Posted this with in the thread with the guide by accident)
