At present I aonly have time to try and test the many excellent mods u guys make, please keep up the good work.

My suggestion to all mod makers is to include a few assassins and spies the starting lineup of all factions. The reason is that these units are typically most useful at the start of the game. I think it would make it more interesting overall without unbalancing things.

My question is I am thinking of a mod of Australia pre-European, with different tribes/factions , spears etc. What sort of time inpur would be required to make say 10 units with say 10 factions , and new maps etc. Building trees would be quite rudumentary (though they could be quite fun with sacred sites etc etc). Any ball-park figure would help, I have read the modding forums for a while but have no actual experience as yet.

A LONG TIME http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/joker.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/joker.gif

Probably a long time. Just remaking the map would be a battle, I dont even think anyone has been able to do it with VI Installed. Adding in Factions wouldn't be hard, niether would making units, just time consuming, and repetitive. You shouldn't have to make trees, unless you want "Australian" trees, just use the trees that come with the game, use the African trees????? My Ballpark guess would be atleast 6 months or even longer. Look at the Nap Mod, and the MEdMod.
