I'm the argonese and I want gun galleys my prob is that where the hell is compass upgrade...is it an upgrade?

Follow Vanya's suggestions below, and you too can bask in the glory of all-engulfing light

Here is what youz need to do:
1. Kill something. A cow, a cat, a neigbor...
2. Drain their blood into your bath tub.
3. Jump in Make sure you get the blood all over yourself.
4. When done, wipe youself off and generously spritz luminol over your entire body.

Now, when you are in the darkness all alone and wondering if the onerous footsteps approaching are those of the Horseman, pop on a black light and you will be glowing brightly... literally

Then, show others your bright outlook on life

And even when the Compass is invented, you still won't be able to create the new ships for a few years, no idea why. Maybe its because you have to wait for the technology to spread to you or something. Either way, the AI can create upgraded ships before you can for at least a few years. If I remember correctly...
