wow i just now noticed somthing about MTW after like a year of playing SP.
Here's the situation, I am the Polish and war breaks out between myself and the HRE. i was the attacker and so i got a messege about all the people staying faithfull to our alliance and some advice (you know good forst are a good defence stuff like that). anyhow as the pop ups came to an end i found one from the Pope, he said I shall divert my attention to using covert messures behind our Enemy.
So i was thought wow thats great but here comes the Excom but it never came it seems if you are allied with the pope and he stays your ally, he wont excom you. anyways just thought i'd say that.
