I want to make my campaign more to my likeing. This means less troops, alot less trops. I want to make troop production longer, how do I do this? Also is it poissible to limit the amount of units in a province? it would be 16 fo rme, 1 full stack of men.

Just download the Gnome Editor (from files section on the org) and use it to open up CRUSADERS_UNIT_PROD11.txt in the main folder (remember to back up the file first). The fifth column you'll see is called "Production Time", the numbers represent turns, so can enter whatever number you want to lengthen troop production.
I don't believe there's anyway to limit the amount of troops in a province but I could be wrong...

You are correct, you cannot limit the amount of units allowed in a province.

Thanks, What do u think I should set the limit to? I usually like about 500 and under in my battles, its just funner fo rme as I feel I have more control, and my computer doesnt lag lol. Also i want to keep the healing of troops to one turn if thats possible.

I believe your troop healing time is the same as its building time.

Don't think there is any means to "physically" limitnumber of armies in a province...
You could however mod the units to get smaller ones (-50% : 30 instead of 60 for example)unsing Gnome, but I think the more effective thing is to mod economy so that support is more expensive.
If for example a faction gets 1000 Fl a year, they can support approx 20-50 troop units (with support rate from 15 to 60). If you double the support cost (Gnome again) or reduce the income of provinces (don't know how to...) armies will get smaller ... EXCEPT the Horde, that has no supprot cost AFAIK, so beware (you can make the Mongol units size 10 http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/eek.gif )
