Well, after bugging a whole lot of people for a while now I've finally "finished" my mod, which was to make the Knights Hospitaller a playable faction.
There's a few things I'm going to fix later on which are; getting rid of the heirs (somehow), introducing some new music, and polishing up the shields.
The mod is for the Viking Invasion version of MTW. Check it out and if you have any comments or suggestions please send 'em my way.

PS. Much thanks to KevitIrae for helping out the numerous times I was stuck. Order of the Knights Hospitaller of St John of Jerusalem (and of Rhodes and of Malta) (http://www.after-birth.com/miscstuff/MTW_Hospitaller_mod.zip)

Man, It's only for VI, I need to save money to get it, but it sounds like a great mod. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Sorry man, if I wasn't so lazy I'd install a second version of MTW v1.1 and mod that too, but I only have so much excess time. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Does this add any new units, and what are the changes?? Post this in the Mod Discriptions area of the dungeon, so others can see it. And you can also include a discription about there. I will DL it and see how it is though.

Guess I should've posted there first, eh? Well, that's now remedied. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Im hving trouble installing your mod. I extract all the files into the MTW main directory, but nothing has seemed to have changed when I start the game.

Can you help me out?

Unfortunately I don't know how to do installers otherwise it would be much easier. What you have to do is follow the path of folders for my mod and replace the file(s) in the corrosponding folders in your game.

Example:
In my mod folder you would see Medieval-Total War folder then you could go into the Loc folder and you would see; Changes.txt, Default_Faction_Specific.txt, Names.txt, etc.
Select all of the files in given folder and copy them.

Next go into the same MTW folders on your computer (ie, C:\Program Files\Total War\Medieval - Total War\Loc) and create a folder called "backup" and drag any original files that would be replaced there. (ie, all the files you selected from my mod)

Then paste my modded files in the original directory (ie, C:\Program Files\Total War\Medieval - Total War\Loc).

You'll need to do that for each folder that's in the mod and it's important to backup your files first otherwise if you don't and want to delete the mod you'll need to reinstall MTW.

Hope that helps, I'm not great at explaining things. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/dizzy.gif

When I went to unpack the contents of the ZIP it said the the ZIP file was corrupted, so mine wouldn't work.
