making a BBC TWO series, 'Time Commanders', to be broadcast primetime on a weeknight, in the Autumn, and are looking for contestants to take part.
We are looking for interesting teams of four, (clubs, associations, teams of families or friends, work colleagues, etc), to take part in the programme. We will be filming the first series in the week beginning August 04, 2003 - filming takes half a day per programme.
Briefly, Time Commanders is an historical interactive show, a game of strategy where you can enter a computer generated virtual world and take on, in battle, the greatest generals from the past in an attempt to overturn history, in a 21st century battlefield command centre.
You need have no military knowledge, only the ability to think strategically, a lively personality and a team of four.
Key facts to know are:
1. We are recording the first series w/b Aug 04 [8 programmes over 5 days] and the second series the w/b September 22 [8 programmes in 5 days again]
2. Recording will be at BBC Television Centre in London, but travel and any accommodation expenses will be covered by us.
3. We estimate filming will take 3 hours, but allow half a day.
We are filming the first series in just a few weeks time, so if any of the staff at the museum are interested in applying, I have also attached a questionnaire. If they could return questionnaires as soon as possible, that would be great, or contact me by phone or email for further information.

I would assume the times and dates have changed as these seem a little close......
