Hi

I have just downloaded the HedgesMTWDEditor.exe from the org, and installed it, and then, when i go and load it up, it simple says Run-time error '53'file not found

Does anyone know how to get this to work? or am i just wasting my time?

I am using version 1.1, on an unpatched MTW, my opperating system is Windows ME.

Thanks.

p.s I would have done this in the modding, patches and maps forum, but i wasnt aloud to post, as im not a guild member http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif

Greetings Creole, according to the read-me this has been tested on Win XP and Win 98 successfully and does not guarantee it will work on other platforms, I noticed you said you were using ME . That might be the problem LOS

I've seen that bug once on another program, it might be the language setting that is not to english(US). maybe, maybe not.

I would download Gnome Editor instead as I find it a whole lot better. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif Apologies if that is not related, but I had the same problem and I then downloaded Gnome and I havent looked back since.

Indeed. I don't know that specific program, but the gnome editor is ultracool. I did build jedi once with it. Rather unbalanced, though.....

Thanks for the replies..:) http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif

I did download the Gnome editor, however, this also had a run-time error.... I think this is because of Windows ME, and so i have it on another PC which wont be-able to ru MTW, but i can edit now. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif

are you missing a .ocx file? that was my problem, and once I got that installed I had no problems whatsoever.
