What for?
The greatest games ever in my opinion. Medieval and Shogun are just so damned addictive that no other game in my collection gets a look in any more (hell, I've got the likes of GTA Vice City and C&C Generals sitting on a shelf gathering dust)
I just cannot stop playing Medieval, infact it's the only game I've played since it was release nearly a year ago. This game sucks you in and doesn't let go - it's like a drug.
When I first got Shogun I was totally blown away by it. The scale is imense and the battles are a stroke of genius. It was like nothing that I had ever seen or played before. Then Medieval comes along, bigger and better, and thus ended my social life. The cat doesn't get fed anymore and my girlfriend doesn't get a look in.
I know that MTW and VI were critisized for the bugs in them - I didn't notice the 56year bug in VI until I read about it in these forums and even though I now know about it, It doesn't detract my game experience. Yes there are other bugs but I feel that people should look at the bigger picture in terms of what CA are trying to do here and give them the credit they deserve. I don't want to get into an argument about bugs - there are enough threads in here that cover all that.
I'm sure that CA will take their time with Rome: Total War and give us the definitive total war experience yet - I can't wait....
Thank you CA
