For what it's worth, if you haven't downloaded Khan's maps yet, do it! DO IT!
DO IT DO IT DO IT!!!!!! (Sorry, couldn't resist the Sam Kinnison impersonation)

All 3 maps are very nice and well balanced without giving any undue advantage to attacker or defender. I particularly like the shift to desert on the Gobi map and the dunes!
