3D downloads

i just spent 35 minutes trying to download a 240kb file from 3D downloads when it said it would be downloaded in 9 minutes, saying i`m pi$$ed off doesn`t really express how i feel at the moment. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/pissed.gif

how and why did the files end up on that accursed site?

this is the probably the wrong section for this statement, if it need to be moved, do so.

No you are not the first to mention or complain about 3d downloads actually theres quite a few topics around on the subject you might want to serach them if your interested seems you have to have your browser set a certain way to optimize the use of the downloads on 3d, you might also check under your Guild Welcome and your name in the top left corner where it says control panel, chat, Files, click on the files and that is a download page for many of the same things you would find on 3d Cheers. They should change the name to "3d non-downloads." You might be able to get some things to work following all the instructions in other topics. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I really have to wonder about the folks that it works for every time... My systems are very good about such things (because I know what I'm doing), yet 3d downloads doesn't work about half the times I try. Any thing this finnicky gets a big raspberry. It ain't the users...
