Well met Akechi. You may find what you are looking for in the Freedom Fighters. Eventhough we do not really have a thing called constitution and do not believe really in honour for it is too often misused, too often measured by two different sizes and too vague to be of any use, especially since each of us give different values to honour.
However, we strife for games where we try to enjoy ourselves without taking the enjoyment away from our opponents. To some, that is honour. To us, honour is not the means, but rather a positive side-result. We play also competitive games, not to show our superiority to others, but we believe that in participation we will improve ourselves best.
FF is an old and a new Clan at the same time. Eventhough we were founded almost 4 years ago, we only recently came to MTW in early March as a Clan. Though most of us were just ronins before, of which a few did play in STW/MI as ronins as well. We have given a home to three other well-known ronins, Gustavus2, Annie(p) and Louis (with the long name).
We do not care much about your capabilities in MTW-VI for thesse can be easily taught eventhough I believe you are quite capable which is a plus point http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif. We are more interested to see whether you'll fit with us and whether we are the clan suitable for you. I believe we are a very close-knit group spread over 6 or 7 games, our size surpassing most other clans, eventhough only 12 of us play TW. Besides being part of the TW community, we are also part of what we refer to with love, the FF family.
If we got your interest, please visit our forums (http://ffighters.com) so you can get to know us better and we can get to know you better. Of special interest would be our MTW open sub-forum (for obvious reasons), as well as our general open forum (anything goes) where you can meet those of us who do not have MTW. Who knows, you might be even interested in joining up our CS and DoD divisions as well, next to our Total War one. Next to knowing us better, which is an important thing to do before joining any Clan, you might be also curious in how we play in MTW-VI. I do not know if you ever played with us, but with the current summer holidays most of us are not able to be online much for obvious reasons. So i figured you might want to watch some replays of our most recent CWC games (http://home.wanadoo.nl/bert.albus/MTW/FFCWC.zip)
I hope you have not made your mind up and that you'll consider us. I hope seeing you around on our forums pretty soon http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
Loves
Nathalie
ps: Amongst our TW branch, we include 3 other scandinavians of which one is danish as well. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
May I recommend the Clan Bear. Have had the honor of playing both with and against them. And have never found a member who was not polite and honorable.
