HELP

I've just installed Grell's First Crusade Mod and as stated in the readme file unzipped it automatically into my Total War directory.

I launched MTW and it now says:

"unable to find deadpage coords file for parsing"

and then:

"Medieval_tw has caused an error in MEDIEVAL_TW.EXE.
Medieval_tw will now close"

i'm pretty sure this isn't supposed to happen- anyone have any ideas??

p.s. i have MTW with VI expansion pack

thanks in advance to any helpers

I don't know for sure but maybe Grells mod is for MTW and not VI. Check the modification data (via "properties") of some of the files in Grells mod.

If it's prior to the VI release date then maybe thats the problems.

MTW and VI mods are not generally compatable.

Thats very odd as my mod makes no changes to the deadpage co-ords and this problem has not occured b4 to my knowledge. Did you have another mod installed b4? I have 4 copies of MTW on my computer, 1 completely clean, and others in various states of modishness http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif I think this is the best way to avoid odd error messages.

i have a copy i labelled "vanilla MTW-VI",
and when i want to install a new mod i make a copy of "Vanilla" just for that mod,
sadly my 60Gig of drive space is shrinking rapidly, http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif
