I was informed by an EA employee (Kocmoc)to post that thread so someone would see it and do something about it.

And I dont even know who you are Khan7 so what are you talking about Im no better than he?

I can see what kind of great people work for EA so mabey I should contact your superiors and tell them that someone threatend to kill me and you dont wanna help me out.

I think that is a good idea now that i mentioned it.

I'm not sure I understand you or what your talking about, but I will say this. None of us work for EA if that's what you think.

That said,

the thread was closed because you accused someone of something and you can't prove it. Even if you could prove it, The Dojo (this forum) does not want to deal with the flame wars that ensue over such debates. Go to EA about the death threat. Speak to them if you are worried. The Dojo is neutral ground and fights are not accepted. Public accusations are not tolerated around here!

We did help - by instructing you to contact the folks at EA. They are the ones that control the server, user accounts (in theory at least), and are the ones who are supposed to be in a position to handle disputes in the online gaming forum. More than that we cannot do, other than advise you NOT to make public postings of an accusatory nature without incontravertible proof. Also, do not publicize things such as IP addresses, the other party's ID, etc. to the entirety of the various public forums, as this is taken as a public flaming - and is not tolerated.

While you may very well have a valid complaint, it is YOUR responsibility to ensure that you act in a mature manner to handle it appropriately. Doing so sets you above those who are against you, and will garner you much faster response by the powers that be in regards to your issue. As I said, this forum has done all we can, and we wish you the best in your attempt to resolve it. However, understand that our rules did require that your original post be deleted.

Like I said before that I was instructed to post that thread here so I do appologise for the misunderstanding. I have been playing this game for a long time and I have never had to deal with something like this beofore in any online game for that matter. Hope to see you all on the battlefield in good spirits

I do see both sides, and I do value the apology Dragon, though I never considered one necessary as such.

If i wanted people to know what was in hte original post I wouldn't have edited it Vanger.

Basically Dragon htought this was the place to complain when it isn't. He posted the content of this appartent threat, copied from his forum, along with the various names he suspected of being connected. Whilst unpleasant for him this is not the place to air these greivances, and we can do nothing about them here, and given the no names policy it was necessary to edit anyway.

Let's go with Skkz's eminently sensible advice and let this one go

Out of the three posts by you that I have read, all three are extremely close to being flames. I ask you as an adult (and I assume you are) to respect the rules of this forum, and avoid any posts that make accusations or intimations of such. Your post is above is a thinly veiled accusation that KA1_Dragon has flamed, threatened and harrassed you in the past. If so, be a reasonable person and either deal with HIM (or her) directly, or if that proves unsuccessful, ignore the immature party. In another thread, you also call someone else hypocritical. They may be... but coming here accusing them of it violates the rules of this forum, and lowers you to their level.

I am not a moderator on this board, but I will ask that if you are unable to follow the rules of this forum, that those who have the authority do what is needed to keep you from continually violating them. I do not log on here to deal with silly drama - and that is what this is. No, I do not minimize the seriousness of someone making threats, but you also have to realize that those immature to make such threats probably could not even spell the name of your state (or country), much less find it on a map.

Don't allow yourself to get pulled to the level of those you have been posting about. Abide the rules, treat others with respect, and those that do not return it, become those who are not worthy of your time.
