problem with start dates....

ok, you guys should know by now (i hope&#33http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif, that i'm a fairly experianced modder, so i'm not prone to stupid mistakes...

well i just screwed up my last mod, restored the game with my back ups, and to pass the time i adjusted the dates in early.txt back to 1000/1100/1205.
done it before, its worked before etc
also adjusted start dates for emisarries and princesses so i don't get a princess aged -76.

game then goes weird, and princesses have no age, neither do kings
what went wrong

I don't think I know of anything this might be besides bad syntax or a simple spelling mistake.
