Warlord Edition

What exactly is the Warlord Edition?

Is it a re-release of the original game with a few extra maps thrown in or is it an expansion pack?

I keep seeing it in the shops and the cover reads like an expansion pack but its priced like a complete game.

Can anyone shed some light?

It is the complete game AND the expansion pack in one. The expansion pack is the Mongol Invasion.
