Working hard this afternoon. But before the Simpsons came on there was a rahter exciting trail - Time Commanders. This is appears to be the programme CA are working on for the BBC. Starts on BBC2 on September 4th.

This trail, if you can watch BBC, is worth looking out for if only for a few more shots of the RTW battle engine.

Julius Caesar (first?)

Here's what the BBC has to say about it in the Autumn scheduling

Quote[/b] ]Time Commanders is an innovative new approach to history - it attempts to overturn the past with the use of the latest technology.

In this exciting game of military strategy presented by Eddie Mair, wannabe warriors enter a virtual world and take on the greatest generals in history - from Julius Caesar to Napoleon.

In a specially designed studio, a team is faced with a map of the battlefield and the formidable enemy, through the use of amazingly realistic computer generated imagery.

Their task is to create a strategy that will change the course of history and their decisions are played out before them, while historians offer an insight into the military technology of the times, the tactics and political context.

Damn, you beat me to posting this.

It looks fantastic, I shall certainly be watching it.

Did anyone from here get to go along as a general?
