Hello everyone.

I am considering purchasing M:TW and the Viking add-on, but I have been made aware that the game is quite a demanding one (and quite understandably considering the stunning 3D battle scenes I have seen pictures off) and I would like to ask anyone here how it would run on my system.

My specifications are as follows:

AMD Athlon XP 2200+
512MB DDR RAM
GeForce 2 Ti
N-Force Audio (built in soundcard to Mobo)

The game looks quote stunning, and I adore anything relating to history, so I am quite eager to get into this game, but if it wouldn't run correctly, there wouldn't be much point. I am however currently downloading the Demo, which should help me to decide quite considerably.

Im pretty sure that you would have no problem running the game as Ive seen people run it on P3s and even less... There are some problmes with certain video cards and sound cards but, if i recall correctly, you shouldnt have any trouble with that...

The game should easily run on your system with no worries. trust me you could do a lot worse things than buy MTW and VI, it keeps many of us back for more.

I'm no techie, but you system does appear to have enough muscle. I used to play MTW on a mininum spec machine and had a blast. Go for it

You should have no problems.

I run on an Athlon 1.1Ghz with a Nvidia GeForce2 with default troop size, 800x600, and no smoke effects with no problem. I have the campaign map at 1024x768.
