There's a file available from the www.totalwar.org downloads called HeroFAQ1.1 or something like that which lists the heroes of all factions.

Someone also posted a list in a thread a month or 2 back so you could also try searching the archives (try "Bohemund de Tankerville", I remember talking about him).
