I read from somewhere that in MTW foyer, there is a bot [_MTW_]profiler which can host 1v1, play with you and learn your tricks if it loses.. a sort of an AI.. written by someone called jay03?

Can someone enlighten me?

Yea, it exists, it's got a different name though, and it doesnt really learn anythin after defeat...

I think its called "Glorfindel", instead of learning, it just whines after battle...

lol mith..

maybe its gone now? Im not sure. I just curious is it so easy to make a bot that can figh real player in MP. Maybe soon we will have see a [_VI_]profiler?

We were promised this kind of learning AI in Shogun, before its release. We were supposed to be able to send our highly trained AI to others etc. I'll just stand here and look for the flying pigs.

It might be CA, using a bot to spy on our medieval tactics, so they can develop a "real" ai enemy for Rome...

Darn you guys found me out after all this time. I am not actually real, but just a bot. I was put in Total War to help boosts everyone's ego's by having them beat me all the time. You didn't REALLY think that someone could play as badly as me did you? Wow I especially like the verbal response chip they gave me. Now whenever I see Yuuki, or CBR I automatically say; "Cav are overpowered" LOL
