This might be old news - but I don't think so

I just saw a trailer for a new series on channel 4 (UK)

It's about how modern day armchair generals would fair in historic battles. But heres the crunch, the trailer showed LOADS of footage from ROMAN TW. AND I mean loads. It looks as though they are going to recreate the battles using the new game

I think it might interest everyone here?

I saw this as well (was'nt it on the BBC?) and it certainly looked very like RTW to me.

i cant help but feel this is gonna suck hard

i mean yeah it uses RTW engine but come on, the application sheet to be a commander said you need no prior experience with computers.

I agree, but perhaps they will just direct the battle while someone else presses the buttons.

However I think your missing the point a bit - we'll get to have a REALLY good look at RTW

yeah but if this program goes tits up geuss what game will go tits up with it.

Anywho, im pretty damn sure that the game will be released no matter how the tv show does. I mean, why would you go through all the trouble to make the game and then not release it?
