i think he's confused by the term "beta" patch.
no, there is no "alpha" patch, what you get is what there is.

laughing not so loud, but still have confusion.
I have a memory that someone said that they'll release the final version fo the patch, so i'm annoyed by whether such a patch will be out. And I so remember that someone called it patch alpha.
btw, I'm general amari in the mp.

Ok, I'll clarify this once and for all.

At the moment beta patch 1.02 was released CA were under the assumption that they had to pass it through EA testing before they could 'officially' release it. Since CA have now switched to Activision EA have decided not to support further patches for MI and WE. So there will be no official release anymore. Patch 1.02 beta is the final version of patch 1.02.

And to top it all off, new player registration doesn't work (see Skull's thread) because EA is "transferring" the servers.

Sure got that right DP! Hopefully once this transfer is completed we'll have a better system than what we've had for the last 18 months and we won't end up with NO server to play on......
