this could either be
A. great free publicity
or
B. a realy second rate shitty program that buries RTW to the depths of suckage.
i totally agree KY but personally i know i will love it cause its just what iv always wanted to see in a tv program. i hope its very succesful.
GAH
Vanya would like it if an mpeg can be made of the episode. The first one alone would suffice, clearly.
Should that prove too daunting, take pictures of the screen and post a transcript? Just the "interesting" parts...
Vanya's cable provider does not carry BBC or BBC2. But they do carry the following most excellent channels:
* Gun Enthusiast Channel
* The Dog Channel
* The Bayou Channel (known locally by its vernacular "Swamp Channel")
* Mohawk TV (FYI, channel devoted to female genital grooming)
* Armadillo Network (FYI, channel that has 24hr cameras on a variety of "wild" armadillos runnin' around... its a Texas thing...)
* Jihad TV
* VanyaVision (FYI, once you sign up, you can never drop it!http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
* NNTN (An "oldie", but "goodie") http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
* The Insect Channel
* The War Channel (FYI, has a 24hr marathon this weekend of "War Stories with Oliver North" and "Saddam: Empire of Evil").
* The Scientology Channel
* Spice Channel, Spike TV
* The Slime Channel (features lots of shiny, green slime shows)
* The Infomercial Channel
* The Weight-Loss Channel
* The All-You-Can-Eat Buffet Channel
* The Sin Channel
* Heresy TV
* Satan-Vision
* The North Pole Channel http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif
Among others...
Just not BBC or BBC2.
GAH

No I don't. actually if you have a satellite receiver with a hard disk you can save it like an mpeg etc...I wonder if I could...dunno yet.

Or
C. A Good program that actually gives a good insight into historical battles & tactics. Makes sense that they would use Total War as a means of getting people's attention and getting people interested who might not otherwise be.

its the BBC not history channel.
it wont be realistic in any way if the qualifications for being a "time commander" are
A. you are above 15
b. your below 60
c. you dont need any computer experience.
doesnt sound like a informative program to me.
if you tape it on video, then use a digial video camera to link your VCR o your PC, that way you can copy thngs off from vid no worries. Just make the quality relativly low, and plop it on the net
