Yeah, the server was down for a while. I myself thought it was my comp so I spend 15 minutes rebooting and shutting down programs and such. In the end I got back in and it turned out there was a massive server crash.

Ah... yes... this episode... LOL

Vanya knows what happenned here. The folks that run the server claimed they saw "an object" inside the server room that did not look kosher. One of the techs went in to check it out and freaked out. He was seen screaming like a little girl claiming Vanya's long lost head was inside... shooting slimey boogers from It's nostrils in an attempt to send It's lord and master an email detailing its whereabouts. Using the shooting snot was a cute idea, as it was expelled with enough force to depress the keys sufficiently to accomplish this simple task.

Well... other techs with a more "level" head went in and supposedly "did battle" with the Head. They claimed to have defeated It and driven it "back to where it came from". As a result of the battle, the server room was destroyed, thus causing the outages youz so aptly mentioned above.

Vanya visited the site in order to confirm or deny the above story. When Vanya went in... He only saw crazed nerds high on glue fumes. There was no keyboard full of boogers... there was no signs that a head, let alone Vanya's long lost Head, had ever been present there. Vanya ordered the police to do a DNA test on all biological samples available... NONE came back matching Vanya's DNA (although the sample Vanya provided for comparison was deemed too degraded to use).

So, all we have here is a bunch of looneys who probably bashed EACH OTHER'S heads in the server room, and cooked up this cockamimee story about Vanya's long lost Head in order to fend off overtures from management to heave them onto the street with a pinkslip in one had and a one-way ticket to the boss' Tijuana sweatshop for he-bitch man-whores for men in the other.

There are still no signs of Vanya's Head anywhere. When Vanya DOES find it, He will dutifully hang it next to the stuffed dear and mouse heads that currently decorate His den.

its is weird how when i play sof2 online which is on gs also i have never seen the server down or had any trouble playing whatsoever except having bad ping days .. shame really and looking at the mp thread at .com it seems this is the main problem why the community does not grow to the size of some others .. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif

ive tried to dl a couple of times now but was always a bust server http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif i tried rtcw:et but felt it was not as enjoyable as sof2, i just love the way sof2 is a fps but it seems to have more close combat than the other alternatives.
