problems starting a campaign

when try to start a campaign it starts to load and then the whole game shuts off.......i can do historic battles and traing but not the campaign........ any reasons why?

Do you happen to have Napoleonic mod, or any other sort of mod.

You may have problem with your video card. Post your PC specs. You can run dxdiag and copy the info here.

Yes, please post your specs. As I recall, problems like the one you are having are with integrated video cards like typically found in notebook PCs.

kylecrue, i use to have that problem w/ shougun on my old PC. it was solved when i bought a new PC. so i suggest you buy a new PC. or by a video and/or sound card.

what are your PC specs?

I have an on board video card on my dell and if you go into your direct X control panel and lower the specs abit it solved the problem for me.

I had the same problem and it was my gforce that was making it happen. Either try to reinstall the game or get the latest drivers for your graphic card.
