I've heard many people complain about lag and wondering if they tried to tweak down the sound effects down a bit before starting the game.
My main problem is I was getting really bad and I had thought it was either video or a resource problem.
After trying everything I thought it could be I looked in the apaothecary and saw something about sound for multiplayer but I decided to give it a shot anyways for single player battles.
Well I tweaked down the sound effects all the way and vuala not a bit of lag. And the thing about it is the sound quality actually got better since my PC wasnt having to overwork itself. I have a good processor decent memory 64 meg video card but an el cheapo sound card because sound is sound to me. That was something so simple I overlookled it mainly due to the fact when there is lag its usually either memory or video but I guess as gaming technoligy is coming along even sound is becoming higher tech.
So I hope this helps those who are having lag problems and didnt even consider trying to tweak the sound down
