I know I should post this in the correct forum but I thought I might get a better response if I post it here.....

Does anyone know if there are txt files that I can modify that will allow me to increase the starting number of units for each faction?
and also increase the starting amount of koku?

Odd request this but is it possible to get rid of the winter battles? i.e if a battle takes place in winter I don't want it to be a snow battle. Why you ask? well simply I think the snow battles look a bit messy graphically - no other reason.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated

More units: You could modify the startpos text for each campaign by hand. But its a LOT easier to use Hecose's STW Campaign Editor.

More money:dunno Seems to be tied to the difficulty level.

Winter battles: Thats easy, 1. don't attack in the winter. 2. If your attacked just retreat or autocalc. Voila no more winter battles.

As for more koku at start that might be an option in the campaign editor, I know you can set start year and what daimyo's and heirs each clan has. You could also achieve the same effect by adding the buildings you planned on building to you provinces from the start.
