So when these units enter the water, or are these ponds or lakes lol.......
What are they doin, swimming with all that heavy armour on...Wading through or what?

Samurai received the best training possible back in the day. No doubt similiar to what elite forces of todays US military undergo. Specifically, being thrown into a deep pool with full pack and equipment. Then its sink or swim - U learn - rapidly...

Samurai composite armour was about the same weight as chain mail (much more resistant however) was very light, about 25 or 30 pounds. So, i don't think swimming would be a problem. A knight though.............hope he can breathe underwater http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif
