Im new to the forums, so dont roast me, but I was unable to post in the appropriate thread, so I;ll do it here. BLESS YOUR SOULS Many of us have been hoping that there would eventually be a Napoleonic verion of this game, following in the foot steps of Spectrum's Fields of Glory and the more recent minitaures games of Waterloo, Austerlitz etc.

Much props goes to the Lordz, I can't wait to see the final results

Also on a side note, we've begun (our gaming clan) experimenting with SHOUTcasting, thats internet radio for those who don't know, with Total War:Medeval giving play by play and color commentary to games in progress. We already do this now for Warcraft III, and it draws hundreds of listeners for our weekly broadcasts. We're gauging now how big a community TW is, and whether to go forward with a regular show like we do for WCIII, the game itself is tailor made for it. Clarification, we only broadcast the battles, not the turn by turn part http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif I'll drop an update here from time to time if no one minds.

I like what i see here, and I'm looking forward to ROME

Attn: Mods this is a question directed to the Mod board thread on the Napoleon mod regarding installation. If possible could I get bumped over (The FAQ said to alert a mod to get a post moved to the appropriate thread)

First of all. Bless you Lordz, this mod looks truly amazing. My hat is off to you.
I have two questions:
1) Will this mod make it impossible for me to play the standard MTW and VI. I have heard either that it will or that it won't, so I'm confused.

2) If it does preclude one from playing the standard MTW is it possible to install MTW and VI on a second hard drive along with the mod and play off that drive for the mod and off my C: drive for the standard MTW and VI?

Thanks, and this is a dream come true. I haven't played a Napoleonic game since I got XP and couldn't play Age of Rifles anymore.

From the Mod's readme

Quote[/b] ]Campaign and Custom Battle mode are supported .

This mod is for MTW Viking Invasion and will not work with any other version .

We recommened that you make a second install of
MTW/VIKING INASION to install this mod , as it does not
come with an uninstall , or a backup of the original game files.

You will not be able to play the original game on the version
you install to .

2= I have 4 or more at last count copies of MTW 1.1 and VI on my C drive at the moment so a second install is possible, should not give you any problems, my OS is WIN XP home by the way, no troubles. Enjoy . LOS

All you have to do to install another copy of M:TW is use the re-install option and put in a different folder. Then for VI just go to the cd and run the setup.exe on it and install it to the same folder as your second M:TW installation. You'll have to re-do your shortcut for the previous M:TW/VI installation though.
