Napoleonic Mod Release

We are pleased to announce the first public release of
Napoleonic Total War NTW_BETA_1.01, for MTW version 2.0VI.
This has been a long process one that is far from over, this first release is somewhat of a foundation that will no doubt undergo many more changes. It was our goal to bring you a game with a totally new period look ,feel and mode of gameplay. Many new elements have been added .
More than 75 new units, including, Generals command unit,
Mobile artillery unit
New Warships
New Buildings
New Flags and Banners
New period Portraits
Names of the many famous Generals , Marshalls of the period
New Period Titles
New game pieces
New battle Formations
and much more
This Mod will only work on MTW Viking Invasion version 2.0
We recommend a clean install for the mod, and note you will not be able to play regular MTW after you install the mod.

A banner week indeed Gregoshi san we should stock up on handkerchiefs, and mild sedatives for the faint of heart http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/joker.gif The response to NTW has been very good so far, this release is the foundation on which the Mod will continue to grow, as we add more elements and monitor feedback, suggestions and bug reports, we hope to bring The Napoleonic era to life in the Total War platform. Not at the moment are plans right now are to see the Campaign through on the VI 2.0 platform. When that is finalised we will look into it. LOS

Brilliant Ive been watching the development of this mod with real interest for quite some time, and im amazed at the quality and depth of it. Definitely the best mod for M:TW imo. It will also keep me occupied for a while, as we wait patiently for the VI Patch and Rome. Big thanks to the whole team that put so much effort it.
