Since there is such a talented Mod making community out there for TW, I have a few suggestions for new mods, hell for full blown TW games at some point Here are my nominees, please post your own thoughts:
1. Alexander the Great: Factions are easy to come by, it fits the motiff of large amounts of troops in formations. Cav, Inf, balista etc.
2. Vlad Dracula's Campagins: These would be towards the end of the Medeval period, but again plenty of factions, and it falls into the swords/shields era with several minor adjustements. The Muslim/Turkish armies are much stronger and play a bigger role during this time period, so that should make that guy who had a beef with underpowered, misrepresented Muslim armies happy.
3. Later Han China (Romance of the Three Kingdoms) Characters, 20+ different Kingdoms at the turn of the 3rd century, plenty of side-stories to fill out a game that would involve massive amounts of soldiers. No gunpowder, pure sword/spear/mace action
4. American Civil War: Since the Napoleonic Mod Beta has been so impressive, the natrual evolution would be to the Civil War. Plus side, alot of interest in Civil War games of any kind. Major Downside: Only 2 forces you can play as heh.
5. Frederick the Great: Same style as the above. Minor adjustments in uniforms and division of Europe, could be interesting.
Let me know what you think
