There are 3 of us who are trying out an experiment for a multiplayer play by mail campaign in MTW. You can check it out here --->MP PBM (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=25;t=10484)

The normal PBMs being played are single player PBM campaigns (like this one) (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=25;t=9506), in which you play the reign of one ruler till his death, write your account of his rule and then pass on the save game to the next ruler.

The Throne Room is the new forum dedicated to Play By Mail Campaigns, and they have proven to be quite popular.

Most of the PBM Campaigns like Seljuk said involve you taking the role of one ruler in the established campaign and dealing with your years as you wish... There have also been some very good write-ups and stories of the events in most reigns.

A couple of Campigns such the Northmen and Holy Roman Empire games have been completed but there are others that are still going strong (such as the Turkish, Aragonese and Russian Campaigns).

Let me know if you want to have your name added to the Turkish or Russian lists, let me know.
