I have not seen this movie yet but does anyone know if this is fiction or non-fiction? And if it is non-fiction is there a book?

I know about Lord Takeda Shingen. He is one of my idols. But yet in all my research of him I have never heard of them ever keeping his death a secret and hiring a body double. Is this part True or False? (Fiction or non-fiction) http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif
