I remember the days of STW i was not in Aggony but a ronin. Back then people could cuss at each other and hence alliances were formed. Maybe a man didnt think other deserved that and sided with them then formed relationship...who knows. Back then teh game was played the way it was supposed to. Grudge battles, Wars, verbal fighting. Now a days no one ever ruffles feathers or starts any wars. Now a days its jus competitions.

Clans now a days are so conservative and things are so nice and playful and its a war game. I understand there are those who play the game jus for competition and playing with own clan.for those people who dont want the grudge battles and wars jus bloke those on foyer and blokck your clan form those type of people from the community. I wish things got wild up in here although i dont think that will be happening for a while now.

Maybe im just the only other person that liked this...maybe not.

Or some corporate goon named ChatMonitor goes around smiting people with muteness if they say something which is arguably offensive.

I remember the old days...and they were fun, but there is also something to be said for being polite.

Hm so far I have only seen people who thought they got muted but found out it was the dreaded no chat bug....or have I missed something?

Of course Im just one of the new guys who never experienced the "golden" days of STW but maybe most people just got tired of the grudges/fighting or finally realised they actually had a #ignore command http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Actually alot of the battles started here on the org, but given recent events and the formation of totalwar.net its pretty quiet round here, Dont worry when i come back ill start a nice little war with the fears and my clan (wolves), weve been too cuddly of late The absence of character such as demon and attending has quietened down the whole scene tho http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif

Well Gentlemen,

Methinks you are all spoiling for a good fight but lack a reason to have one.

I may be young and inexperienced, but no-one shall call me a lily-livered boy, fearful of challenging the veterans.

** pulls iron glove off and throws it in the middle of the room **

Here lies my gauntlet.
Anyone dare to pick it up ??

I am waiting .....

Oh Swooshykins I played 5 games with attending just 3 days ago. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif He may start playing regularly again. So, who knows? hehe He played very well too. Think he must have been playing for awhile using an assumed name.

I dunno there are some out there like me who want a reason for a war. Lol jus most want a 'War' without the harsh consequances of it if you lose.

Like if noob clan came out and someone always made fun of them and stuff there could be a war between them. Then when a war comes aornud theres arift and alot of excitement in the community. Isnt that good...i mean this community does need to livin up. There should be some grudges and im not talking about "o Gee golly i wish our clan won that COMPETITION" Its should be "i wish our Clan destroyed that clan for....being arrogant and insulting" .

Also Pitt i am going on MTW latly yeah definatly NTW. I like it like that you wanna get some frustatration out go to NTW. It like the Wild west lol but i tend to liek it.

Why, only a woman can be so cruel

Allow me ...

** Sir Nigel bends his knee and gently pulls his gauntlet out form under her tender, ironclad foot.
As he rises up, he draws a red rose form behind his shield and offers it to her.

And for the rest of you, who are looking for a reason for a war, here is my gauntlet, again

AK:

I know what you mean. There are several behaviors occuring that really make me want to start something, but I refrain since if I start something with a member of a clan then then drags my RW mates into a war.

Sometimes the arrogance and lack of chivalry truely impress me. The quitters; those who join a 3x3 or 4x4 then fight as though they have no teammates (or skill); those who dance on their opponents corpses, gloating; the smack-talking XSBS. The worse, the complaining whiners who MUST find someone to blame for a loss (never themselves of course).

Gah

But compare those a$$h@e$ to Elmo. He plays the game for fun, and makes his games fun. No need to inflate his ego, or make up for a lack of cobbles by dissing those less experienced or fortunate. A real man in my opinion.

I don't know for sure, AK, but it seems like the wars continue, only a little more discreet and covert now.

Ichi yeah i agree perfectly with you when you say

The thing that starts those wars is when the clan agrees with your actions and will not fix them buerocratically but by the sword http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

I Know there are some clans out there that who havea mutual hate for a certain other clans and would like to go to war on them. Maybe not to end them...but to kick there ego in the b@lls or somthing.
