Hey there Amon. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif
Well theres a few things i do in this sitaution.
- Send a spy to kill the low loyalty general, hoping that a new general with higher loyalty will take command (Be warned, if the spy fails, civil war is almost a certainty)
- Make sure all the low loyalty units are under the command (stacked up) under a high loyalty commander. This brings the chances of civil war down.
- The influence of your king is usually the determining factor in loyalty so to increase your kings influence you must attack and conquer enemy provinces.
- Build, build, build A quick way is to get your kings vice up from Builder, to Great Builder, and lastly to Magnificant Builder. Great and Magnificant Builders give a +1 then +2 loyalty to all your generals under the kings command.
- If some of your units have had a few casulties, try merging the low loyalty unit with a higher loyalty unit and the general will change again and you may gain a nice loyalty.
Hope this helps.
