View Full Version : Razing building during the battles
In campaign mode, if I raze any buildings on the battle map during a battle, does that have any effect on that territory?

No.
If it has no effect, then why am I allowed to raze the buildings during the battle?
I am not a vandal so I didnt attack any buildings during the battle. But if you step on farmlands during a battle they are automatically destoryed. So if it is not a very difficult battle, I try not to step on farmlands, so that I wont have to rebuild them after I get the territory. I guess they have an effect. Try and destroy a church, see what happens http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/idea.gif

they don't do anyhting, CA jsut put it there to distract ur troops(it takes a long time to destory them) so the weak mined CPU can beat u in battle http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Well I think it has an effect as the Vikings as it does say in the maunual for VI that
Quote[/b] ]Any building that the Vikings destroy on the battlefield earns them gold
I do think this only occurs to them though so it has no point for every other faction on the game http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif
You're right it only works for the vikings. For all the buidings that they destroy they get its full value in gold, once they become christian they only get half its value.
