will someone please upload my mod? I'm having serious problems uploading it. You'll be pleased to know i've reduced the size to 40mb, compressed. If you are willing to do so, post your e-mail here and i'll send you the files, plus if you do, you'll get first play. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
Just make sure you credit it to me though http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif

I have cable modem, so 40meg is no problemo
Excellent work, by the way.
hmmm, i think most email services will only allow 10mb or thereabouts. I'm not totally sure whether this is always the case or not.
IIRC, when we were passing SPWAW (Steel Panthers, World At War) around via the internet, it was 650m. We had to use ICQ in some sort of Data Transfer mode. It worked great, but i don't remember exactly how to do it.

I (think) have sent you the mod. However, I'm concerned it may not be in its full form. Get back to me if it doesn't work properly.
why don't you also send me a email with no attachment. If i get one without the other, it may tell us there is a problem with the large attachment.

I don't know whats wrong. I'm so frustrated and tired. I've exhausted all options. I don't know what to do. I just don't. I have compressed the mod down to 40mb and split it into 20 2mb files. After successfully uploading the first one, i get error messages on each subsequent file upload. I have checked the Zips for errors and there were no apparent problems. Anyone help me? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif
Blind King,
How fast an internet connection do you have? Do you have ICQ? If you don't know what that is, it is a freind to freind chat service/server. It is a free download, and totally easy to use. You can get it here;
http://web.icq.com/
If you get it, and we add each other to our 'buddies' list, you can send it right over to me peer-to-peer. I don't have ICQ loaded right now, but i'll go ahead and download it and intall it right now.
Here is some info from their web site, it confirms we can send with it, and i've transfered a 650mb file before.
Q. How do I send a file to another ICQ user?
A. In your Contact List, click the friend's name you want to send a file to. Choose Send/Get File -> Send File. Browse your computer to choose the file you want to send. In the Send Online File dialog box, enter a description of the file you are sending (optional). Click Send. Note: Sending the file will allow the recipient to view your IP address. For more details, click here.
Q. What is the size limit for the files I send using ICQ?
A. There is no size limit to the files/directories you send using ICQ.
Q. Can I send files through a firewall?
A. Please note that the "file transfer" function uses a peer-to-peer connection and the files are not relayed through the ICQ servers. The speed can vary from transfer to transfer but there is no size limit for the files/directories sent. If you cannot receive or send files through ICQ, please make sure that you're not behind a firewall. If you or the other party are, make sure it is configured properly.
Q. I am in the middle of a file transfer and it looks like it's stuck. What can I do?
A. If a file transfer gets "stuck" in the middle, please initiate the transfer again, but in the very beginning, move the speed slider (located at the bottom of the File Transfer window) to the middle.
OK, I signed it at ICQ. Took all of 5 min. for the download and to get my number... which is;

Let me know if this helps. I should have suggested it before. emailing a 40mb file is asking for trouble.
